Once October rolls around, I get so stoked — it kicks off one holiday after another that involves my favorite thing: FOOD! In all seriousness, the fall holidays get me particularly excited for all the family and friends get-togethers, decorations, and cozy/snuggly vibes with the onset of cold weather. Besides, once you’re out of school and in the work force, you experience holidays a tad differently (i.e. “when is my next day paid day off?!”). Since I just started a new job a couple months ago, I don’t have much time off to take; my only trip this year was during funemployment. I’ve always had the travel bug, but I think I now have a fever — I HAVE to travel next year (I just need someone to go with me)! During the summer when everyone is traveling, I’m feverishly stalking their photos on IG haha. But then come October, offices and homes are being decorated and people are cooking up a storm with fall ingredients (hey pumpkin!). Most of my friends and their families are here in the Bay Area, so luckily (and selfishly), I get them for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Can you believe Thanksgiving is THIS WEEK?! Where did October go? I’m not as excited for the turkey as I am for having all my friends come together to eat and laugh. Oh and the shopping!
