Home SF Grand Opening on May 7, 2017
Home SF, the quaint little cafe in the Outer Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco, is opening their second location in the Outer Richmond! They rose to fame with their birthday cake latte, a vanilla latte with rainbow latte art and sprinkles on top, and their variety of toasts. The Outer Richmond is now getting its own location with a larger space, outdoor patio area (coming soon), and a menu that includes some new items that are sure to excite.

Owners Annie and her fiance invited a couple of us to get a sneak peek this morning — I’ll point out my favorites below. Ok, sorry, this includes almost all of the items…
I would definitely go for the Avocado Toast Sampler again. It includes a slice each of the:
– Let’s Avo-Cuddle: baby arugula, cherry tomatoes, avocado
– BR-AVO: bacon crumbles, radish, avocado
– Seoul Much Avo: spicy kimchi, pine nuts, avocado
Who knew that kimchi would go so well with pine nuts and avocado on toast?
There’s plenty of green on the menu from matcha to avocado. If you”re looking to mix up your matcha routine, they’ve added the Godzilla, a sparkling iced matcha tea that was interesting. As for the Let’s Avo-Cuddle, I think I could eat it every day. There’s a very slight kick from the red pepper flakes.
The birthday cake latte, a vanilla latte with rainbow latte art and sprinkles is still on the menu and it’s still one of my favorites for a little pick-me up. It’ll turn any frown upside down…especially if you get a unicorn! If you choose to order the Cereal & Milk toast to make your day colorful, I’d recommend ordering a non-flavored coffee to balance the sweetness of the condensed milk and Lucky Charms marshmallows.
Once it warms up some more in the city (isn’t it strange how it suddenly cooled down?!), I’ll definitely be back for the Cookie Monster-gato, an affogato with cookie butter and Cookie Crisp cereal on top. It’s as if you’re about to dig into a bowl of cereal and milk, but an adult version that includes coffee!
Coming Soon: the Lavender Latte’s cousin, the Rose Latte, will join the latte family on the menu soon! It strikes the perfect balance of espresso with rose without being too fragrant. It’s a delight!
