Product Review: Quaker Overnight Oats
I received two product samples of Quaker ‘s Overnight Oats and was stoked to give them a try. I’ve seen many recipes online on how to make them yourself, but I just never got around to trying any of them.
Flavors I tried: Blueberry Banana & Vanilla Bliss and Toasted Almond & Coconut Crunch
The directions for preparing them are really simple — open the lid, take off the plastic, add milk up to the line inside the container, and place in the refrigerator over night. It’s a quick 5-minute preparation; in the morning, it’s ready for you to grab and eat. I found the overnight oats really refreshing on a hot summer morning.
I was a bit skeptical since I expected the oatmeal to be mushy, but the oatmeal in both of these were not. The oatmeal stood up to the milk and I was amazed by the flavors. I loved both equally and I would buy both flavors again since some days I may prefer the fruitier flavors and some days I may prefer the nutty crunch of the almond. For the Toasted Almond & Coconut Crunch, I used almond milk in lieu of regular milk and it was delicious.
The overnight oats can be found at Target in the breakfast aisle, and they also have the Orchard Peach Pecan Perfection available.
